Montado Golf Resort

The Montado golf course, in south of Lisbon, unfolds beneath old oaks and younger olive trees, chestnut and pines, planted when the course was first built, whilst around it wind creeks and natural lakes.

In operation since 1992, the golf course of Montado needed an impulse to reach the level of quality it deserves. In 2005, extensive remodelling works were initiated under the direction of well-known Portuguese Architect Jorge Santana da Silva. The whole layout of Montado golf course has been redesigned by creating new tees and greens, which are currently in excellent conditions.

The highlight of Montado Golf Course, in south of Lisbon, Portugal, is without doubt the hole 18 where it plays for a green located on an island. The MontadoResort is surrounded by vineyards used to produce the famous wines of the region.
