The course was re-designed by the renowned Australian Graham Marsh and offers a tough test of golf with a New Zealand slope rating of 124. A Par 70 with 102 pot bunkers rewards the straight hitter while still having to maintain considerable length. Located in a valley in the Algarve, between Portimão and Monchique, the Morgado Golf Course is a challenge both for those who are taking their first steps in golf and for the most experienced player who seeks to put his technique to the test. This is a par 73 course, but the length of the course is mitigated by the generous width of the fairways.
