Golf course “St. Sofia ”was opened in 2004 and lays the foundations for building the golf community in Bulgaria. In 2009, an important decision was made to renovate the course, which led to its closure for 18 months. In early May 2012, the long-awaited result of a project by the famous Irish golfer Paul McGinley was presented. Now the capital Sofia boasts a golf course similar to those in other European cities.
St. Sofia Golf Club & SPA is located just 20 minutes from Sofia city center. It has a 11-year successful history in establishing and developing Bulgarian golf community.
