Opened in 1938, the Royal Bled Resort has retained much of its character. A recent renovation has however added all the modern facilities you would expect, whilst maintaining the cosy nature of the rooms. The hotel also has a very unique feel and this is shown in the 14 rooms they have here, with each being of slightly different design. There are 4 classic rooms in the Lake House part of the hotel, and 10 superior rooms in the Kings House. All rooms include a flat screen TV with cable as well as Wi-Fi and a gorgeous view of the Mountains and golf course. The superior room is also fitted with a luxurious bathtub.
There is one restaurant at Royal Bled, and guests can choose to dine on either the expansive terrace or in the indoor seating area, which offers awesome views of the mountain range. The menu is À la carte and visitors eat here for both breakfast and dinner. The restaurant also has a bar area in which guests can enjoy a mix of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages whilst taking in the breath-taking views.
Royal Bled is home to two outstanding golf courses, the Kings and the Lakes. The woodland courses are bordered by a forest, with the backdrop of the Julian Alps making for an unforgettable round of golf. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, Royal Bled Golf Course presents 27 holes with a stunning backdrop of the snow-capped mountains of the Julian Alps. Dating back to 1937, the forest bordered course is the oldest and largest in Slovenia. Despite being set in a mountainous location, the course is not too hilly, so beginners will also enjoy this amazing course. The par-4 14th hole is a particular highlight, the fairway is tightly sandwiched between the forest and the lake.
