Longniddry Golf Club

We continue to follow Scottish Government restrictions, taking into account guidelines from Scottish Golf. The course is open to members, guests and visitors and we look forward to welcoming you.

Formed in 1921, Longniddry Golf Club straddles the coastline of Longniddry in East Lothian the cradle of golf, arguably the finest stretch of golfing coastline in Scotland, 18 miles east of Edinburgh. Longniddry Golf Club is the closest links course to Edinburgh, with spectacular sea views from many holes. Designed by Harry S Colt, Longniddry Golf Club offers a very good test of golf for both members and visitors who come to enjoy some of the best golf available in Scotland. For the Gents there are no par 5s and 8 par 4s measuring over 400 yards; the 5 longer holes are par 5s for the Ladies making it an accessible but challenging course for players of all abilities.

“Longniddry is a true Lothian gem that should be on your must-play list when planning a visit to Scotland’s Golf Coast. It offers an interesting mix of inland and links holes that will really test your course management and shot-making skills. The lovely stone clubhouse features many fascinating photographs & prints and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a post-round drink overlooking the Firth of Forth.”
