Marc Leishman

Marc Leishman was born in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia in October 1983. He became the first Australian golfer to win the PGA Tour’s Rookie of the Year Award when he did so in 2009. Leishman turned professional in 2005 and has played on the PGA Tour and the PGA Tour of Australia. He has more than 10 wins including three on the PGA Tour as well as wins on the European Tour, Sunshire Tour, and Web.com tour. Marc Leishman finished tied for 2nd at the 2015 The Open Championship. He finished tied for 4th at the 2013 Masters Tournament. Leishman also finished tied for 12th at the PGA Championship in 2013 and tied for 18th at the U.S. Open in 2016. In 2006 he was the Von Nida Tour Money List winner. On the PGA Tour he has won the Travelers Championship in 2012 and the Arnold Palmer Invitational and BMW Championship in 2017.

Marc Leishman is coming off a T13 finish at the 2020 Masters and one in which he tied a Tournament record by playing Augusta National’s par-5 holes in 15 under. The Australian’s best finish in eight previous Masters starts was a T4 in 2013. Leishman, 37, is a five-time PGA Tour winner and has played for the International Team in the Presidents Cup four times. After his wife, Audrey, suffered a near fatal illness in 2015, the couple founded the Begin Again Foundation to help families experiencing medical and life crises.
