Ancer, 30, was born in Texas and raised in Reynosa, Mexico. A dual citizen, he chooses to play under the Mexican flag. While he has yet to win on the PGA Tour, Ancer has finished runner-up three times. As a member of the International Team at the 2019 Presidents Cup, he put together a 3-1-1 record, taking his only loss in a singles match against Tiger Woods.
