Won twice, including his first career major championship title at the PGA Championship, and finished the season No. 6 in the FedExCup standings, advancing to the TOUR Championship for the first time in his career. First victory of the season came at the Workday Charity Open in a playoff over Justin Thomas. Lost to Daniel Berger in a playoff at the Charles Schwab Challenge, the first event back from the suspension of the season. Was recognized through the Comcast Business TOUR Top 10, holding the No. 2 position in the FedExCup standings entering the Playoffs.
