La Serena Golf is located in the municipality of Los Alcázares, occupying an area of 60 hectares on the very edge of the Mar Menor. It is an eminently flat course, where the greatest difficulties for the game will be determined by the prevailing east wind and the multiple water hazards that come into play on 16 of the 18 holes. The traditionally structured course is not particularly long, although precision from the tee becomes a fundamental piece that the player must master to find his way to the green among many bunkers, desert areas and the aforementioned water obstacles.
The golf club has a large Social Club with all the facilities and services: The ground floor houses the changing rooms, pro-shop, the caddy master’s office and a clubroom available to associates and clients in general. On the first floor are the cafeteria, the à la carte restaurant “La Serena” and a large terrace with unbeatable views of the Mar Menor and the golf course.
