The Castelgandolfo Country Club is located in the territory of the municipality of Castel Gandolfo, in the Castelli Romani area and included in the circuit of the “most beautiful villages in Italy”. It extends between the hilly area of the Alban Hills and the flat area of the Agro Romano.
The whole area surrounding the Castelgandolfo Country Club is surrounded by numerous buildings and buildings of historical significance linked to the presence of the Papacy and by important archaeological sites. The town is famous all over the world because here is the summer residence of the Popes, which can only be visited together with its gardens since 2015.
The golf course extends over an 18-hole course inside a volcanic crater that the imagination of Robert Trent Jones has transformed into a challenging golf course with interesting technical implications.
The fairways are inserted in the frame of very rich vegetation in which centuries-old Mediterranean olive trees and pines alternate with oaks, vineyards and rose gardens.
The terrain is home to 93 bunkers, 3 ponds, artificial obstacles and many other pitfalls for every golf lover.
